Albany Park Road

A sympathetic renovation and refurbishment of the late Victorian Windybank House on Albany Park Road, Kingston upon Thames. Moments from the Thames, the house forms part of the Richmond Road Conservation area, a set of eclectic properties built in the 1890s to the designs of Arthur Windybank.The design repeats the pitched roof form of the existing house with a glazed creating dramatic living and dining room. Exposed joists, brick and carefully proportioned glazing creates a garden room framing the mature plants and trees outside.
