The project was to amalgamate two flats into an original semi-detached town house and double height ground floor extension to create generous atmosphere to the dining area. After understanding clients’ living pattern of spending most of time in kitchen and dining area, the proposal was to maximise the use of space rather than floor area. Polished concrete floor inside and out was to break the distinct boundary between the house and garden as well as summerhouse at the back of the garden.
