House in Queenspark I

The design drive for this project was to enhance the relationship between the main body of the house and the garden with the introduction of a side and rear extension.The new glazed volume acts as a seam between the parts. The intention is to not interfere with the original proportion of the building elements and this is achieved with the simple geometric solution of introducing a roof that slopes along the house rather than across.
