Michaelis Boyd worked with Soho House on a countryside retreat near Oxford in the beautiful landscape of the Cotswolds. The site of a former cattle farm, the historic listed farmhouse and surrounding granary and farm buildings have been retained with much creative flair to house a spa, restaurant, bar and creche. The existing lake surrounded by mature trees has been developed and expanded with a new build boathouse and seamless indoor and outdoor pool. A new barn has been added to create a new private screening room. The guest accommodation is made up of 30 timber cabins, each with their own identity and character.
