LYN were appointed to design and project manage the amalgamation of two apartments within a large townhouse in the Westbourne area of London. The clients are an artist and writer who required a modern interior that complemented the original layout and aesthetic of the original Victorian property.The central feature to the first floor is a bathroom which serves the guest bedroom but when all the concealed doors are open stands alone as a box in a larger living area. This enables light to pass around and above the box to the adjacent reception room.
